Missouri is an amazing diverse city which actually reminded me alot of Memphis. I was EXTREMELY excited to try BBQ in both St Louis as well as Kansas City. I was waiting for this moment since my trip started! Since I spent most of my time here catching up on my blogging I was only able to touch the surface. However, here are my revised of two of the top BBQ places in Missouri.
Arthur’s Bryant’s
Arthur Bryant’s almost is always in the top 10 BBQ places not only within the Missouri but in the United States. It was originally known for it’s ribs and the rest of it’s meats are just as delicious. It’s kept its authenticity and is a no fuss joint which is all about its food. Not only is the food absolutely delicious it’s also filling! Their portions are probably the largest sized portions that I have had to date. Put this place on your list if you are heading to Missouri!

Pappy’s Smokehouse
There were alot of highly rated BBQ places in St Louis but I decided to head to Pappy’s Smokehouse. A very large restaurant with very long lines. It’s food did not disappoint and neither did the service. Even though it was crowded they were overly helpful and made sure I got a table to eat even though I was alone. Restaurants do not always prioritize the solo traveler since they will make more money with a couple or a family group. However, this place was as good as it gets. Two thumbs up from me!
